Kristi L. Burmeister

Kristi practices in estate planning and litigation. Kristi’s enthusiasm and straightforward approach make her a great match for the clients she serves. She is eager to help and practical in her solutions.

Kristi graduated from the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Law where she finished in the top 2% of her graduating class. She has also been recognized by the Kansas City Business Journal (Best of the Bar) and by her peers (Super Lawyers "Rising Star") as a top attorney in the area. From 2012 to 2017, Kristi served on the Kansas City Liquor Control Board of Review. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Kansas City's Association of Women Lawyers and is passionate about advancing women in the legal profession.

Emily Sullivan

Emily left “big law” to create a local estate planning and litigation practice. A people person by nature, Emily provides a warm, supportive and practical approach in meeting her clients' goals. She is an effective listener and is passionate about developing relationships and working with people to help them navigate their legal needs.

Emily is licensed to practice law in six states, including Missouri, Kansas, Florida, California, New York, and Wisconsin. For clients with properties located outside the Kansas City area, Emily's multi-jurisdictional practice makes her uniquely suited to deal with their estate planning needs.
